mId AuTuMn fEsTiVaL aT Sg. Jin oF Sg. LeMbInG [PaRt 1]

Day 1 - 3 Oct 2009

ya today is the actual day for mid-autumn festival and well in UMP there is a Koko compulsory subject for the first year first sem student,…it is known as Briged Siswa,…so gottta go for camping instead,....ya there are few components of this subject to get the credit hour including Team Buiding Camp,….so gotta woke up so early in the morning to get on board to the bus and yet my Section/Group 15 is the last group waited for the bus till about 8.30a.m though it mentioned 7a.m,…..,there are about 180 of us consisting of 5 big Group from Group 11 untill 15,….though it is just a distance journey from gambang to the main entrance of sg.lembing but our group is going way in sg.lembing that is sg. Jin,..and ya what a nice experience with a lorry ride into the jungle and it took about an hour just to reach into the area of sg. Jin,….. the journey entering is so damn weird when the lorry is full of the whole bunch of girls except us the A4 group,….A4 group??? Yup not F4 but A4 since my faculty code used alphabet 'A' and somehow so coincidence my class has 4 Chinese guys that is Nicholas, Phooi Keat, Shang Qian and me, myself,….so all 4 of us got stuck with these bunch of noisy girls screaming and talking all the whole journey going into sg.jin destination,…..once we got there yup we been welcomed with breakfast,…sadly we need to wash our plate and there is no cutlery to be used,….i am finally using hand to eat after years of not using,….as to wait all 5 groups got into the camp site it is already noon,…and we had second round of meal with the leftover food with the groups that came,…been told that the first activity will be CERAMAH,…I was like what ceramah at the camp site without proper place?? How on earth they can do that??,….luckily it is just a simple briefing actually about orientaring activity,…been raining back then before the briefing and even during the time we about to start the activity,…so they decided to let us have our late lunch or tea perhaps before the orientaring activity,…. ..well the fun part begins where some of the hidden hints needed to be search way inside the forest and we had to cross over the river,….pretty fun though all I need to do is followed the leader who lead the way,….hahahahahahaha,…

so after done the orientaring activity, we then get ready for the tent stuffs which apparently the girls are so much luckier sleeping in the ‘igloo tent’ while the guys is sleeping under a big roof layer with a canopy’s material sleeping sheet where basically more than 50 guys sleeping together under the same roof,…as for the dinner I guess nth can be worse than that I thought in my heart as we are given the ingredients and some of us were selected to be in ‘bahagian memasak’ while others the remaining of 180 people just sit there and wait,…..rain like cats and dogs while waiting for the dinner,..What is the worse??,...it is the food,…seems uncooked,..with one bucket of rice over-cooked which left another one for all 180 plus people,…and the dishes also barely enough,….the only nice one is the chicken,..They really fried it very well,…..ok ok I thought this dinner time is the worst of all but I didn’t expect being so tired and sleepy where I can sleep while standing, we are forced to be lecture by some UMP people and yet lecture under the rain for hours and hours before and after the late dinner,…..finally we decided to find another way of torturing I guess,…been standing for hours dy nvm,..counting the number of people over and over again also nvm,…guess the really WORST would be the night walk in the jungle in the dark without torchlight and yup we walk flow and back for 3 HOURS more,….gosh I can’t feel my leg AT ALL!!!,….by the time they release us back to campsite which the guys one is inside the forest, so we gotta cross the river again to get back campsite thus sleeping ONLY FOR 2 HOURS,….that also with lots of insects biting me all night sleep where I barely sleep well btw,….apparently I got skin allergy when I got back,….
