KaMpAr > USM InTeRvIeW TrIp

once again i got shocked of my mind!!!,....being so excited for the past few days after the my first few sales,...suddenly on friday, i received sms from USM,...informing me to go for interview for my Quantity Survey course on 11th May, Monday which is today........and ya the interview is all the way at USM, Penang,...so i was kinda lost but thank GOD, jyue is offering help to bring me to penang and to the interview since she studied both degree and master in USM,....well as back up plan even mei-dree offered to help out with accomodation as in i can stay overnight at her house in butterworth then her mom can fetch me to USM the next morning,...but since jyue has more time to do so walking around penang with me,...so i followed jyue instead,....

Day 1 & 2 (9th - 10th May)

~ So on saturday, 9th may i already on the way back to kampar as to meet jyue first,...then the next morning 10th may, we take another ride of bus from ipoh to penang, So,...before the bus ride went for breakfast and quite a lot this time too,....ate glutinous rice once again plus 'chee cheong fun',.....and yup very different from kl,...thier sauce is curry which hardly find in kl or if got also not as nice as these one lol........ and this is fishball meehun,...jyue's breakfast>>>>

Day 2 (10th May, Sun),...Cont'

~ so are we reached penang about noon,..first stop at the ferry then took the ferry to penang island and quickly got ourself to Red Rock Hotel to check in first lol,..... and here's how the room look like,...kinda cool actually two single beds and kinda spcious and one thing for sure it's REASONABLE,.....recommended for people who want to go for trip in Penang,...cos it's situated near Macalister Road and near many malls like Times Square Mall and KOMTAR,.....should try it if anyone going for budget hotel for Penang Trip,....

after checked in and rest for a while in the room,...then we went out to KOMTAR,...went to a steamboat restaurant there for lunch and since got plenty and nothing to do,...jyue and i went for a movie just to fill in the time,....watched Star Trek and walk around the mall,...while on the way back to hotel saw Berjaya Times Square Mall which is newly opened so went there to have a look but,.......it seems like the shoplot not even rented out yet,....guess it takes some months for the whole mall to be fully open,..... so walk around the mall and get a tea-break at Roti Bakar Kopitiam,....get to try the toast but it was ok nee la,...

Then, went back to hotel room to rest while waiting Lee Yoke Mei, jyue's friend to finish work from hospital,..working as a nurse oh,...cool rite???,.....so went to the food street nearby the hotel where lots of food to choose including 'char kuey teow',.. fried osyter,....and satay..ate all those lol!!!

Day 3 (11th May, Mon)

~ wake up early in the morning,..just like a school student,...then get myself off to USM the one near Bayan Lepas,....when reached there,...many ppl already waited and well dressed with formals,....gosh so scary and so FORMAL!!!,..i mean the environment,....so waited quite some time before the officer in charge set up the table for registration and that moment eveyone rushing like 'chickens' and me, myself also went and slot in the line and ya i got quite front,..so got number 6 lol,..cool,....so went in the lecture hall to hear to the introduction and talk for about half an hour and then they spilt into few courses like architect, interior design, and of cos quantity survey,..thank GOD QS need not test for drawing or else i guess before make into interview i would have fail drawing part dy,....well after all during my interview time,...sigh,.....SPEECHLEESS!!,....not a good thing being the first few candidate to be interviewed,...cos less time to prepare or settle down,..settle down in terms of spiritual and mentally lol,....since got 2 panels, so i went in the other panel as the 3rd candidate and ya THANKS so much to MYSELF,....i was so freaky nervous,...i don even know what am i answering,...oh gosh i am crapping,...SHIT!!!!,...i screwed up my one and only one chance interview to get in USM!!!,......sigh so i prayed hard from that moment onwards hopefully they will consider back for my result and my munsyi test result lol,.....and after the interview straight went to bus station to get ticket back to kl since i only managed to get 1 day leave, which is today,....then went to Queensbay Mall,......WOW!,..the mall is so big can compare with midvalley or even bigger,....and had Sakae Sushi for lunch before going off to kl,...and so am i 4 hrs bus ride to kl,.....hope will be visiting Penang once again without so rush like previous with mei-dree, pui yan n fyi,..that trip was kinda rush too,...everytime came to Penang so rush,....next time i don care whoever going with me make sure got ONE week stretch in Penang!!!
