H1N1 HoLiDaY, wee!!!

WOW!!!,…the moment I am blogging the previous post,…I then check e-comm in my uni’s website,…and here they are, announcing the closure of uni due to H1N1,..so I am OFFICIALLY having my H1N1 break for a week from now on,…and seriously I am so blur not knowing what next??,…I am in total lost of what to do next,..i was once rushing and packing all my 3 days weekend back in kl with grocery shopping and settle some other stuffs,…yet I am so damn free with one week off,…not knowing if it will prolong and how does it goes about with my mid-term break during my raya since there will be 2 weeks there,..are they gonna cut a week off from there instead??,…..anyway yup since it’s Officially break now,..i guess I will be busy with planning for outings again for the whole week,…hehehehehehehehe!

once, once again~!

ok seriously I can’t believe that ALL my classes today CANCEL,..so I decided to go back KL once again and again and again and again,…….just to avoid from being infected by H1N1 lol,….things getting more serious and scary here with more cases with the symptoms,…running out of UMP like a chicken seriously,..first in the morning, rent a car out with darren and jun liang to get tickets back to KL in the afternoon,…since still early we had breakfast nearby Terminal Makmur and quickly get the tickets and back to UMP to pack some stuffs and get ready to wait for the bus at noon,….and finally here I am back in KL once, once again in the evening safely without any symptoms of infection by H1N1,…hehehehehhehe,…

and since so jobless and bored in the bus,..i took these pics for fun for the view of forest on the highway lol,….

ThInGs GeTTiNg MoRe SeRiOuS HeRe!

oh no!!!!,...the case H1N1 in UMP is getting more serious,...here there is a case that a student had been admitted to hospital due to H1N1,...and the numbers of people getting quarantine is increasing,...those people whom got fever will directly sent to Kolej Kediaman 4 area which meant for the guys which is situated opposite the uni,...it is more the a shoplot style hostel for this area,....and since the area still new and not been occupied yet so the uni decided to quarantine them there,...so today Klinik Kesihataan UMP decided to distribute mask for free as to prevent H1N1 from spreading,...in the morning I went to get the mask but by the time reaching afternoon I guess the stock is running out, therefore they decided to give only for those who got cough,...if flu or fever DEFINITELY will be quarantine by then,....things getting more serious and it looks like UMP gonna close for a week just like other uni that did happened H1N1 cases too as today all afternoon classes were cancel due to the Block W is closed for quarantine as to believe it is the main block that been spreading the flu,...aaargggghhhhh,.....erm guess I might need to back home emergency if by night later they announced in the memo the closure of uni due to H1N1 then,.....

ok it’s the day I am going back to UMP and I hated such feeling,….the feeling of going back in an area where transportation is rather convenient and entertainment is rarely available here really makes me uncomfortable,….once again I am missing KL and before I am back to Pahang,..I asked Sara out for a meet up at A&W near puduraya just to keep update with each other,….ya with updates she mentioned before that she is dating,…finally I met her bf, Savin a f6 student from SMK Setapak High,…so we chatted about 1 hour more there with light meal in A&W,….and thank goodness, Savin being the nice one helping me to bring my stuffs which are a printer and another bag full of food to puduraya though it is just a distance walk but still the printer is the main heavy ones that really burdens me,……anyhow here I am 3 hours on the way back to UMP and reached by night right now,…..

well, well, well,.....besides buying crumpler bag and sunblock,..i decided to get another pair of kargo pants as a spare for uni’s lecture classes,....wearing kargo pants is such much like a civil student than a slack to be honest,...hahahahahaha besides I really lazy washing my clothes everyday or few times a week,...I rather wash them once a week,...so of course I indeed of extra pants,....hehehehehe,....well that’s about the stuffs I got for today before I am back to UMP again tomorrow,.....

At the same time while still got time before the ASQ FINAL is broadcast, I went to Jusco for grocery shopping with mom and get myself sunblock too as the sun in Pahang here is BURNING,….how can sun at 10 in the morning can be such HOT and BURNING???,…..thus protecting my skin from UV light actually,….hehehehehehehe,..more to come!!!

After two consecutive of Dicota Laptop Backpack had spoilt which my bro won these as a prizes from DOTA competition,..i finally gave up using these bags and get myself a better and nicer one,....i am getting myself a Crumple Bag from KLCC today,....wee!!!!!,...the bag i long wait since f5 time when i saw my friend started using during school time as a school bag,..this time I am using it for both during uni’s lecture classes as well as a laptop bag,...WEE!!!,........

bAcK In KL aGaIn!!!

ok people as I said I am back to KL once again,...erm the feeling being able to step in KL land once again is as i mentioned before although it is 2 weeks time only,.....well additional feeling of excited as the main reason I am back here is to watch ASQ ’09 FINAL,....been following since audition, preliminaries and semi final,...so is a MUST to follow the FINAL, besides, the top 5 finalist are all my favourites,...they had come a long way since audition and proved that they deserved to be in top 5,....hopefully tomorrow’s FINAL will be a good show and not disappoint me especially I myself come along way back from Pahang to KL just to watch this show,....till then,...wonder when would be the next time I would be blogging in KL lol,....

KuAnTaN aGaIn FoR ReAsOn

Since planning to go back KL once again for the MAIN reason of watching ASQ (Astro Star Quest) 2009 Final therefore, Darren and I decided to rent a car to Kuantan to get tickets at Terminal Makmur once again. Erm, Kai Yin (Kyen) and Jun Liang also tag along as to have another Chinese meal for dinner,....

oh btw the hang out group I meant all this while in previous post of outing are them,...Darren Tan, the KL guy that I consider clickable, he is a chemical industry student which pretty cool stpm result of 5 subjects some more,...and Kai Yin a bio student from Sg. Siput, Perak studying IT Management now and Jun Liang from Johor studying management,.... too bad can’t get any pics of them yet,....just managed to get their back when we got to a Fun Fair new our uni area, gambang,....yup we went to fun fair after getting tickets and dinner at kuantan,....well cos we still got some time before returning the car that’s don’t wanna waste the $$ paid for the time so decided to go to the fun fair and have a look together with a free game played,....hahahahahaha,...wait till i come back to kl on fri for more post then,.....cya!!!

OuTiNg aT KuAnTaN

once again my hang out group decided to go out to kuantan for a day outing to get some fresh air,..this time as before we took the ump bus to kuantan with rm2 per trip service provided,....once we stepped in the land of Kuantan, we then get some local chinese food for breakfast before get moving to EC Mall,....walk around and explore once again in EC Mall for some time,...thought there is GSC cinema opened in this mall but,....it is still under renovation,...aaaarrggghh!!!,....so we gotta make a move to Berjaya Mall instead since we wanted to watch Harry Potter,......what a surprised met chun yeen, my coursemate at the main entrance of Berjaya Mall,...gosh didnt expect there will be an outcomer joining our group,..just not click yet with him though he is my coursemate,...hahahahahhaha so then we went for bowling first to kill some time waiting before the movie,......then we went for grocery shopping before ending our day in Kuantan and back to UMP!!!,...that’s about my simple outing in Kuantan,...till then,..cya!!!

DinnEr aT TaMaN TaS

Yup out of the sudden, we, my usual hang out gang decided to go out to a nearby area, Taman Tas where there is some chinese restaurants over there,....guess maybe we are too bored 'stuck' in the campus for so long and also 'stuck' plus 'sick' with the malay food in uni here,..so decided to go out and get some fresh air and also chinese food to give some satisfation especially when come to meat,...we miss PORK so so much!!!,...a dinner to be treausre though the food wasnt that tasty but at least it is chinese food with PORK and ya we got ride in the car which rented from the senior,..apparently they are 'smart' in way of giving renting car service with rm5 per hour excluding petrol but if any thing happen,..just wonder who will responsible for that,...but so far no news about that,..besides the students without a car here are so much appreciated to be able to drive our the uni campus area to enjoy some food or entertainment or activity out there,.....hehehehehe till then for upcoming post!!!

Got this laptop today the moment i am step into KL land,..headed straight to Low Yat Plaza to look for Kah Hoe, my cousin bro who is working in i-stuff store where i can get good rate and good packages offer,...it comes with the mouse and sling back of course,..other accesary stuffs i get my own instead including ALL-IN-ONE Printer, a Cooler, a 8GB Pendrive.....etc...WEE!!!

FuuuuuuUUU!!!

Yup exactly like the title of the post,…felt so relieve when I first arrived back to KL from ump,..although it is just 2 weeks away from KL,..it feels like months,..seriously my hours during MINDS week was the longest I ever had and wish time could speed up 10X faster,…and just few days back I got to Kuantan to get the bus ticket and now today, which is two days later,..i am here stepping my foot on the ground of KL land,…the feel really different from any other trips I went outside KL and even the air is so much different in Pahang and KL,...miss KL air so much and feel these air is so much ‘lighter’ and more relieve than those in Pahang,…no doubt in terms of pollution, the air in Pahang is more fresh since the Kolej Kediaman 2 area is near to the hills,…therefore sometimes early in the morning there is mist just like the feel in Genting Highland,..but I never felt so much fresher and relieve with the air in KL,….really have no idea why it is so,..but definitely one of the factor must be the homesickness,..of course I still hate the facts that KL roads really makes me headache with jams and lots of cars trying hard to squeeze in each other lanes just to get on moving on the road,….this will rarely or should I say never happened back in Kuantan,….well just the transportation makes me much more in trend as I took Monorail straight to Low Yat Plaza when I got back,…the transportation or rail transit which is not available at any part of the country and any other states. That’s the thing which really reminds me that I am in KL city,…hehehehehe,...that’s about my ‘homesickness’ towards KL city....

a LuCky dAy!,...Wee!!!

it supposed no class for today at ALL,....wednesday is my FREE DAY and yet i am waking up way early in the morning just to go the 8am morning class as a replacement on friday evening since it is the same lecture,...well it is because i am planning to go back KL on fri for my very first time,...so been hectic for past few days on how to earth i should be getting to Terminal Makmur bus station at Kuantan to get my ticket,....and so were luck by my side where one of the friend here got to know some bus driver uncle who seem nice offering to help and show us around Kuantan if we need one,...so during lunch hour time we waited for him to come and ya SURPRISINGLY,...he came with an ESTIMA!!!,....i was like,...

what?? a bus driver uncle can afford such a car??,...

but pretty cool to be fetch around with that car though,....hahahahaha so the other friend, Darren who is from KL went with me to get the tickets,..he is going back in the morning on friday,..mine in the afternoon since got morning classes,.....and for the first time in the weekdays i am able to taste chinese food once again for my lunch as well as my dinner,...wee!!!,.....and so am i having luck by my side to help me get ticket back to KL not only cause i am HOMESICK but i am planning to get my Laptop (LAPPIE!) this weekend,....till then,...hoping i will be able to blog at home,..KL HOME i mean,...hehehehehe see yea ppl!!!

don't be surprised, cos this is a belated post once again BUT,...the date of bernard's 21st birthday is exactly as posted date which is quite easy to remember 67 = 6th July = FiRsT dAy oF UnI's LeSsOn,...apparently this year i also unable to attend his birthday celebration since i am all stuck in a deserted area of uni in PAHANG, gosh felt so bad and guilty since this is the second time i was unable to attend his b'day celebration,..well soon gonna get him some belated presents hopefully,....hahahahaha,...anyway wish him,.....

FiRsT dAy oF UnI's LeSsOn

'The start of something new',...

The real beginning of my uni life with lesson of the day,...woke up way early in the morning just like going to school like that just to go out to the faculty office to check my class schedule,..the earliest class in the uni is 8am and ya keep waiting at the queue for everyone to check in the e-comm system with only one at the faculty center,...by the time i check my turn it's already 8am but thank GOD,...my earliest class on mon will be at 10am,..so i got plenty of time before next class,...yup waited for 2 HOURS wondering around n exploring where will be the bilik kuliah for each subject,....erm day one of lesson pretty much a lay back day since some lectures were not ready to enter class or busy,..so most of the classes were cancel,....guess there will be more classes and hectic schedule coming up,....btw the subjects i need to take for civil engineering first sem would be as following in the timetabke,.....:

(1) Calculus
(2) Enginering Mechanics
(3) Engineering Construction
(4) Civil Engineering Materials
(5) Enginnering Drawing

and two COMPULSARY additional subjects from the UNI

(6) Technical English
(7) TITAS

eXpLoRiNg KuAnTaN MaLL

phew!!,..finally orientation is ALL over since yesterday,..well yesterday also kinda relax though since we need to do some 'khidmat kommuniti' thingy but it was all abou fun and eat,...i was assgined to BAHAGIAN: MEMASAK,...i was like what the,....there is only 2 chinese in this group me and another chinese guy,...we basically trying our best to help but didnt know what to do so we end up sitting at a corner eating the fruits and food that been cut out for lunch and hi-tea,....having fun and relaxation in the 'dapur' with lots of food and drinks,...and all we need to do is carry out those food to the tent,...THATS IT!,..and we can enjoy for the day,...

since there is free transportation of uni bus to kuantan,..so my very first 'lepak gang',...hopefully will be more 'lepak' with this gang as the very first group of friends i knew in uni,...took the uni bus to kuantan,..this time cool,...the bus stop nearby the Terminal Makmur bus stop which is so much nearer to East Coast Mall,..in short EC Mall,...so we went there instead of Berjaya Mall as i dy knew what is all inside Berjaya Mall,..after all EC Mall is a brand new and guess the largest mall in kuantan,...walk around and starting to explore around the complex,..erm guess within 2-3 hours time i dy explored the whole complex,..it wasnt that BIG after all,..just around the size of the largest jusco in KL,...then had brunh at the top floor foodcourt,..which the taste is really so 'yucky',....it is like no place of nice food in kuantan like that or maybe we haven found any yet so far,....erm nothing much been done,.basically just grocery shopping but i aint not since i fully loaded with stuffs i need before i came,....and thats about the day with an early dinner at a nearby chinese restaurant,..finally we had PORK for the week>>>'char siew' rice...aarrgggh,..miss pork and KL food so so much!!!

MINDS '09

28th June 2009 - 4th July 200

MINDS or better known as Minggu Induksi Siswa or in short Orientation Week for first year first sem uni students,...ya guess all uni over the country did the same thing,..but since it is kinda new established uni, its orientation kinda stick to the traditional way where it is COMPULSARY for every Siswa/Siswi to attend ALL the 'ceramah' and activities organised by the MPP (Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar) with the help of many many fascilatators,...including many of chinese seniors representative as fascilitators to warmly welcome us to the uni,....from the word Week, it shows the orientation will last for a week beginning from the day of reporting until saturday,...

7 DAYS OF ORIENTATION???,..what on earth they trying to do??

the first day of reporting was so damn tired dy with cleaning up the hostel room and listen to a 'ceramah' by night and ya they purposely drag it till late night so that we will suffer with the lack of sleep during orientation,...need to wake up 5am,..IN THE MORNING!!!,...just to prepare and get ready to go out and reach the campus area by 6am,...u might be thinking why does non-muslims need to wake up that early in the morning since we don't need to pray early in the morning but,......we do have moral session which pretty much a 'sleeping session' instead for us,...some speaker giving some boring talk at the front and each of us just half asleep in the Dewan Kuliah,...the week of each morning just repeat and repeat all over again for 7 TIMES,..and ya each and every morning we getting more sleepier and sleepier with more lack of sleeps,..barely have more than 2 or 3 hours sleep a day during this week with LOTS of 'ceramah' and activities packed each and everyday,....gosh just cant believe i can survive such 'torturing' week,...i just so so miss KL especially with the food,..the orientation food is REALLY REALLY SCUKS TILL THE MAX!!!,...not only that,..i need to wash clothes with hands since i barely have time to wait for the washing machine to run 1/2 hour,...and with all the strangers around,..it is like there is a moment i wanted to scream for 'HELP' and wish to call my mom instantly make a 3 hours drive to pick me back home,...life alone without family around in hostel is TORTURING,..it is LONELY and you just dunno who to talk to since majority are the race of M,..and even the chinese just cant stop speaking mandarin for once,...

i kept asking in my heart, cant they speak english??,..hello BANANA in the uni!!

not that i cant speak mandarin, but ya my mandarin is BAD,..really BAD,..not fluent at all!!!,..just dont enjoy speaking mandarin with strangers,...if with my dear f6 friends is diff la since we got to know each other for a year and more,...this one all are strangers,..i need to introduce my name in chinese(mandarin)>>> 志坚 all the time i meet new chinese freinds..that's really pathetatic, i felt!!!,...hopefully soon i will be able to 'break free' from all these nonsense and everything will be fine without any of these 'obstacles' of uni life,...more about uni life so stay touch!!!
