A NeW ChApTeR oF LiFe: ChAnGeS In LaYoUt

well well since i had entered in UMP,...to inherit the spirit as UMPians,...i decided to follow of its 3 main colours,...blue, cyan and yellow. And might a little of white as well. Nothing much will be change in the blog after all actually just that changes in colours of the fonts and the arranging of some gadgets or the change in the header's quote,...and ya from now on i guess i will be using these 3 main colours for any posts about my UMP Uni Life activities or any happenings,....so lets get started with my brand new life in UMP,...more to come people!!!

REPORTING DAY!!!

'a journey of a thounsand miles begin with a single step'

and i had made my single step into UMP today,...

well before went to report had breakfast at a nearby 'mamak' restaurant,..then proceed with the journey to UMP,...

after about half and hour drive we saw the signboard directing to UMP and the moment we got into the main entrance of the university, i barely can feel my heartbeat,...i was so nervous,..my mind keep wondering, will they be any chinese coming in this uni??,..what uni is this,..why i saw a factory is behind some builiding??,...what am i supposed to do with the reporting and registration, how does it goes about??,...all these questions just keep popping up in my mind,....

then i got settled down in some registration tent, asking me to fill some forms before proceed to some main hall to wait for the turn to get done with the documentation,....gosh waited for so so long for the queue,...after long hours of waiting at last i get all documentation and registration done and ya got my room's key as well,...getting Block K19-4, i was like,...wait a minute, isnt that block kinda far away from others,..sigh what an arrangement,...after everything done,..yup is time for,...........MOVING IN!!!,....ya what an arrangement again,..they administration arranged all the students and parents cant used the car to go in the hostel area since it will gonna jam up the whole area,..so gotta wait for the uni's bus to come and bringing ALL my stuffs into the bus and unload them once got to respective hostels or should i say houses since it is a terrace house style,..4 rooms in a house with 2 person per room,....and lastly presenting

A dAy In KuAnTaN

Preparation Days: -
Day To Go : 0

since all the preparation is DONE,...so today isnt a day of uni's preparation,..instead it is a day of me and my family(mom, jyue & jyan) in kuantan,....but before going for the trip to kuantan,...i had my haircut first since needed to wait for jyan to come back from work,....so after the haircut straight head to kepong to pick up jyan or should i say wait for her to pick us up since she is driving but using my mom's car all the way to pahang,....after almost 3 hours drive or should be around 2 and half hour since jyan's driving was fast,...we reached at kuantan searching like crazy for direction to get to kuantan town,..after some time we got there and quickly get to Grand Continental Hotel to check in,...rest for a while till dinner and we then went to Berjaya Megamall which is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel,...apparently this berjaya mall isnt as grand or as new as the berjaya mall in KL,....it was old and ya kinda dissappointed with the shops they have in it,....no many choices of restaurant to choose so we end up at 'it's finger lickin' good'>>> KFC,....then walk around hoping to see more chinese in the mall,..not that i am racist just that really worry about an unfamiliar town pahang,..whether the majority are malays or equal like KL,....finally once entered in Popular Bookshop i am like phew,...there are chinese after all in kuantan,....just that not in this Berjaya Megamall i guess,...heard there is a newer mall in town,....so gonna go there once and visit,....well thats how the night spent with some snack bought from Giant in the hotel and a last movie watch from the Astro from the hotel,..oh ya almost forget to comment about the hotel,...it was rated 3 stars hotel and seem cool with Astro but,.....the hotel seriously seem like a motel instead to be honest,...ya a little exxagerated,..but it is true cos the room isnt as grand as Red Rock Hotel for instant,...jyan n jyue are so disappointed since they are putting high hopes in having fun with one day trip in kuantan with nice budget hotel and nice food,..end up they just came to accompany me to go for the report in uni,....

ok story continue with the half day i am with jyue at jusco,...was planning to get my shoe from klcc but since time is running out so went jusco instead and after long search in jusco i finally got the pair of nike sports shoe i long wanted to get,...one that can used for sports and outing,...2 in 1,..save more money in getting 2 pair of shoes instead,....and then only we had our late lunch at nando's,...gosh after being starved for quite a day finally we had our meal for the day,.....then get back home and rest for the very best time since,.....AT LAST!!!,...i am DONE with everything in the uni's preparation checklist,......

~ at last got my new nike sports shoe!!!



PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,.....

and at night jyan came visit,....was thinking hard for a place to have our dinner and finally we decided to go the hawker stall behind Tawakal Hospital,....hmmmmmmmm,...yummy been long since the last try at there,....and ya sadly it is the last night of me in KL,...gosh i am so 'sick' and so gonna miss KL so so much,..everything including family, home, friends, food,....u name it in KL,..i just miss everything of them,.....hopefully life in UMP will be interesting and i can often come back during weekend since it's just 3 hrs travel between Gambang, Pahang and KL,.....till then see yea people!!!

today i guess not to blame pris or not,..it's kinda a bad day to start with,....got up early in the morning with barely enough sleep and yet need to help pris out with the certifying of her medical check up report at GH,..i was like what on earth i am going to GH 3 TIMES in a WEEK,....and ya another thing that is so great,...pris' car broke down,..thank god broke down in the parking lot,...so being good friend of hers,...gotta send her all the way to TTDI because she needs to settle her documentation and get injection from her gani clicnic,....what to do since it was raining cats and dogs back then,...i just cant be that evil dropping her at any nearby station,....guess ya maybe being 'mulut celupar' i mentioned that i didnt really impressed with MJ's personality although no doubt i am impressed with his music,...cos it was the day he pass away,.....guess a sign to me to show last respect to a LEGEND singer,.....then after settle everything go meet malini, pea-pea and her bf, jordan who happened to get the same uni as me but differrent course,...so sort of officially know each other before going uni first,...though it doesnt makes any different,..not that we gonna meet everyday in uni since we are in different course,....oh ya got a treat of from pris as a thanksgiving for helping her out for the day and dropping her back home,.....,and now i felt guilty since i left jyue all alone for the half day at home with just a light breakfast with her,....gosh guess she must be hungry like crazy waiting for me to have lunch with her,....story to be cont' in ~PaRt 2~

today yet another day to do all the preparation for uni,....got up in ...the morning and had breakfast with jyue,....then go out to Bank Islam this time to get my atm card as well as get done with the registration payment,...this time also another long wait just like the previous time i waited to open my acc,.....kinda frust just spend half the afternoon on one small matter,.......then get ourself to carefour after got back home since i didnt drive all the way to the Bank Islam which is nearby SOGO area,...SUPERB jam area where i DEFINITELY wont be driving to,...quickly get the 'setem hasil' for the uni documentation,...and ya for the final time grocery shopping at carefour,...this time really get a lot of stuffs too since carefour is a one stop center for grocery shopping,.....FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!,...this time really really more relief when checklist is getting shorter and getting nearer to complete everything for uni's preparation and ya getting nearer to uni's report day,...getting nervous too!!!,..that is why,..jyue and i went for hi-tea at oldtown to relax and pampered ourself for a long and tiring day,.....erm,..wonder what is next for tomorrow since everything is done???

fuuuuuuu!!!!,....today felt even more relief when jyue offer to come KL all the way from kampar to help me with the preparation for uni,...once woke up need to go out settle with documentation again and wait for jyue's call to pick her up from lrt station,...then went to jusco and had our lunch at mcd,....then rest for a while at home and settling ptptn application at the same time which takes hours and hours to login and complete the whole application form online,...sigh what a good server they have,....since by the time i get done with the application my mom dy almost reach lrt,...so went pick her up as well as went for grocery shopping at jusco for the stuffs to bring over to uni,.....and lastly had a simple dinner at chinese restaurant nearby my house,...day 3 is over,...more to come with some other minor stuffs to get done with,...till then,..see yea!!!

although yesterday had done the x-ray chest and taken the result but still the other general body check up result only can be take today,...so neeed to go GH once again to really settle everything once and for all,....fuuuuuu!!!,...felt so really relief as can cross out one task in the checklist,...next stop will be Bank Islam,...needed to open an account as stated in the checklist for registration forms and yet,....need to come back to the bank again to pick up my atm card since they run out of stock!!!,...sigh what la prepare more stock la since so many uni students opening account as specificied by the uni,...sigh,....then rush like a mad cow to school to get my beloved f6 maths T book back from kevin kan as refrence since i need to prepare for Calculus subject in first sem of the civil engineering course lo,.....waited like a dumb fella for pris and bavani they all to come since they were having lunch with ms.low so i am so 'smart' went all the way down to masjid jamek, had my lunch at mcd and yet they haven reach,....finally within half an hour,....they reached at a traffic light junction and asked me to get into the car in real quick yet i struggle searching for her car in a thousand at the traffic light junction,...so basically i am running like a 'chicken' crossing the busy roads while on the phone with them,...gosh so damn embrassing all the cars at the junction were looking,....just like a 'kampung boy' in KL lo,...though i yet to reach a small town to be one for 4 years time,....hahahahaha,...next stop is the imigration office at damansara area as pris and ash need to collect thier passport,...oh ya ash going UMS as well but different course with pris,...then it is time for enjoyment,..YAY!!!,....heading to The Curve and planned to catch up our 'last movie' in KL cinema,........too bad ash got some emergency so cant join hopefully there will be some other time,.....thought of watching any shows there is available since Transformer only will be coming out tml,...but luck on our side,...didnt not there is a Premier Show the day before,...so we got ourself tickects for Transformers II,....everything ends well today,...but gosh i am so so damn tired with less than 5 hours sleep a day for the past 2 days,...and ya guess for the whole week of uni preparation as well lol,.....

way early in the morning, woke up jsut to do medical check up,..ya thank GOD aunt chu working in General Hospital, so she can help me out with everything about medical check up,....ask munyee to tag along as well since she also need to do medical check up for uni's preps,....ya she getting into UMT (Universiti Malaysia Terrenganu),...so coincidence huh both of us got east coast but she got this as her 4th choice,....me??? it is a 9th choice (which mean i get myself 'lelong' to all public uni then only i get the offer),......anything good thing aunt working in a GH is we can save a lot of time with the queue and also $$ which might more slightly more in private clinic/hospital,.......getting the medical check up done quick i then went to school to certify the photocopy certs,.....ya another reason is to meet pris there since she also need to cerfity hers,...ya ya she getting into UMS (Universiti Malaysia Sabah),....something in common got the word east which is east malaysia instead of east coast,..hahahaha,......then waited for zarif to finish school to 'lepak' with him while at the same time certifying our tons of tons of photocopy certs.....some how hadi and pui mun tag along with us and went to a restaurant named Canteen near central market for lunch,....oh ya almost forgotten to tell,..for the first time i witnessed pris' driving that can bang into a motorbike park nicely at the back of the car,...she cant even see the bike was there,...i really need to SALUTE her driving skill lol,.....,hang out and chitchatting plus gossiping in Canteen for a while before heading to TTDI just because pris need to pick up her paycheque and had a farewell yumcha session with her colleague,......so i drove all the way with her car to TTDI then drop her there and while waiting,....Hadi who was in the car wanted to go back,....so gotta send him back all the to gombak,...CRAZY WEI!!!,...guess it is the furthest road i ever drive,...from one end to the other end,...luckily there is such a thing call HIGHWAY,...tried the DUKE highway and ya it is freaky accurate in terms of estimating time to a place,...can u imagine 15 mins from TTDI to Gombak,.....that's INSANE wei!!!,.....then i gotta rush all the way back to TTDI to pick pris up and ya got lost half way back,...so make a big turn to reach TTDI,.....and then we head off to OU,...thinking catching for a movie,...but time is a factor,..instead we walk around and i got myself a pair slack pants for uni since i dont even have any slack long pants except kargo pants or jeans which both seem inappropate to wear in uni's lecture class,.....and ya got a farewell gift from zarif which is just nice to bring over to uni to accompany me when i am bored,.......hahahahahaha,..and last but not least had a great farewell meal with zarif and pris at BK with the combo meal,...gosh never thought that combo meal can be that FILLING,.....till next day,..see yea!!!

well the moment i accepted the uni's offer i soon realised in the offer letter it was stated June 28 as the day to report and registration,...i was thinking it means i need to prepare all the stuffs within a week including settle all the documentation needed as well as start packing with all the stuffs as it consider as shifting to a 'new home',...gosh never thought entering uni would be this troublesome,...gonna be a busy ahead without anytime to say goodbye or farewell with my dear buddies lol,....it supposed to be 7 days to go but since i already started to plan way in advance that i needed to get to Pahang a day earlier and stay overnight so that i wont be late for registration the following day. And kinda shock to hear and see aunt chu who is from sentul purposely drop by and visit just to tell me in advance things and stuffs to buy and bring over and she even bought some stuffs like medicine just in case i really dunno what medicine to bring over there,....gosh a week of preparation for uni is just started there will be to come, people!!!
